Beskydy
This
part of the country offers you great opportunities to explore still less
visited, but admirable and unique land with so many unique natural beauties,
rich cultural and historical heritage and good hospitable people. Folklore
follows its long tradition here and attracts tourists from all over the
world. Conditions for hiking, cycling, skiing are excellent here. Walking
in Beskydy mountains will charm you and take you back to the old times.
Wallachian Kingdom is also sometimes
called this region that arranges for tourists many entertaining events
every season. The name "Wallachia" derives this region from Wallachia
in Romania, from where in 17th century arrived nomadic shepherds following
their flocks of sheep across the Carpathian mountain ranges. They settled
down here and merged with the local people, bringing them way of life,
habits and cultural customs. But this area was settled much earlier, already
in primeval age . Also medieval castles grew up here and today dominate
the landscape. What makes this land interesting are old wooden Wallachian
structures which were built to slowly become the first villages and later
towns. The way how people in the past built their dwellings shows their
sense of harmony of nature and architecture. Friendly and enthusiastic
people love to host visitors especially with a kind of brandy made of
plums called Slivovica or with a tasty beer Radegast named after Slavonic
god. And food ? It is hard to describe. You have to taste it. And once
you taste it all,
you confirm what a good idea it was to visit Moravia and you would wish
to return again and again !!! When you return from the various trips to
the places of your accommodation you can spend your time by playing tennis
on modern tennis courts, swimming in both , open and indoor pools, horseback
riding, playing golf on the new field and doing other interesting activities
such as jumping on trampoline .You can also visit some good stylish restaurants
or dance in local clubs.
